ULTIMATE CIVICS and a dozen other groups co-founded the national grassroots MOVETOAMEND COALITION in fall 2009 in anticipation of an adverse ruling in the 2010 Citizens United decision. MOVETOAMEND’S WE THE PEOPLE Amendment is the ONLY amendment establishing that only human beings have constitutional rights and that money is not protected political speech. MOVETOAMEND’S amendment has been introduced in every congressional session since Citizens United and MTA works with hundreds of community groups across the country to advocate ending corporate rule.
